Summer Message from Principal Calderon
Dear Lanham Crusaders,
As the school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to tell you how proud I am of each and every one of you. You’ve worked hard, shown kindness, and grown so much this year—both in your learning and in your character. You truly showed what it means to be a Crusader!
Now it’s time to take a well-deserved break! Summer is a time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the sunshine. I encourage you to spend time with your family, explore new hobbies, read exciting books, and keep your curiosity alive. Whether you're traveling, playing outside, or just enjoying quiet time at home, remember that learning can happen everywhere.
Don’t forget to keep up with your reading and practice those math facts—just a little each day can make a big difference! We want you to come back ready to take on new challenges and adventures.
To our rising students: We can’t wait to see your smiling faces in the fall! And to our outgoing 5th graders: we are so proud of you, and we know you’ll continue to shine in middle school.
Have a safe, fun, and joyful summer. Remember, once a Crusader, always a Crusader!
With pride and care,
Principal Calderon
